What hardware and router models are supported?

Clever Networks connects directly to MikroTik routers running RouterOS v6 or RouterOS v7. Supported models include the hAP series, RB951, RB4011, RB5009, CCR series, and most other MikroTik devices.

Is there a free trial and how does onboarding work?

Yes, every new account receives a 7-day free trial. A one-time, non-refundable onboarding fee is charged when your account is activated to cover initial system setup, MikroTik API integration, payment gateway configuration, and guided support via phone or WhatsApp.

How do M-Pesa and Bank payments work?

You can accept payments using your own Safaricom M-Pesa Paybill or Till number, with or without Daraja API credentials. Customers can also pay via STK Push directly into your bank's paybill account. Payments trigger automated reconciliation and instant account reconnects.

Can I import existing subscribers from my router or CSV?

Yes, subscribers can be imported by uploading a CSV file using our standard template or by synchronizing PPPoE and Hotspot user lists directly from your MikroTik router.

What happens when a customer's subscription expires?

The system sends automatic payment reminders prior to expiry. If payment is overdue, internet access is automatically suspended on the MikroTik router and restored immediately upon receipt of payment.

How are SMS and WhatsApp notifications sent?

You can connect your own Bulk SMS provider or WhatsApp Business account. Alternatively, Clever Networks provides a built-in messaging service using the default Sender ID CleverNet.

How secure is our ISP financial and customer data?

Clever Networks uses data encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access permissions, audit logs, regular cloud data backups, and secure cloud infrastructure to protect all ISP data.
